Small crystal ball for Ilka and Stoeckli

16 March 2017
Ilka Stuhec displayed her super condition for almost the last time this season. The Slovenian won her 4th downhill race and earned herself the small crystal ball in downhill racing. Together with the World Champion title in downhill racing and the second small crystal ball in the super combined this is an absolute triumph. Congratulations, Ilka!
The alpine World Cup season is now slowly coming to an end in Aspen where the athletes are fighting for the last World Cup points. For Stoeckli's athlete, Ilka Stuhec, this event was a shining start. As in the 4th and 8th downhill races, the 26-year-old athlete clearly dominated the race, managing to leave her competitors behind.
Having earned 597 World Cup points in the downhill, Ilka Stuhec definitely deserves the second small crystal ball with her top lead (137 points). Her chances to win the 3rd crystal ball continue today as she competes in the super G.

2 victories and 6 Top 10 rankings for Stoeckli

05 December 2016
What a weekend! In Lake Louise Stöckli's new team member, Ilka Stuhec, decided both downhill races in her favor. In addition several other Stöckli athletes fought their way right up into the top 10, winning valuable World Cup points in the process.
Stoeckli's new team member, the 26-year-old Slovene Ilka Stuhec, delivered a convincing race in Lake Louise this past weekend, winning both downhill races and placing 5th in the Super G. For the Slovene it marked her first victory in her 110th World Cup race.
Viktoria Rebensburg also proved that she was back on track after her injury, placing 5th in the downhill race on Friday and 6th in the Super G on Sunday.
Another Top 10 classification was achieved by the American Stacey Cook, ranking 6th in Friday's downhill, directly behind Viktoria Rebensburg.
And finally in the French Val d'Isère, the Slovene Bostjan Kline demonstrated his good form, delivering strong performances where he placed 5th in super g race on Friday and 4th in downhill race on Saturday.
